We specialize in metals and elemental analyses by ICP-MS, using the Agilent 7800. This is the newest generation technology to provide low detection limits and accurate analyses of water, soil, and solids.
The sample preparation area was designed with HEPA air filtration to provide a contamination free area for the analyses of trace metals in the low ppt - ppb range.
Apex Analytical Laboratory
Air analysis for volatile organics is offered through our strategic alliance partner, AirTech Environmental Laboratory. AirTech provides ambient air, indoor air, and soil vapor testing using methods from the USEPA Air Toxics Method Compendium.
Private Well Water Testing
Apex Analytical Laboratory is accredited by the Arizona Department of Health Services for compliance testing of drinking water, wastewater, groundwater, soil, and solid waste under the following regulatory programs:
- Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
- Clean Water Act (CWA)
- Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)
- Clean Air Act (CAA)
- Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
Environmental sample testing is a core strength of Apex Analytical Laboratory. Our staff has extensive knowledge and experience working on projects for engineering/consulting firms, municipalities, utilities, mining, chemical, waste management, transportation, electronics, and petroleum industries. The Arizona Department of Health Services recommends homeowners with private wells routinely test their water to ensure it is safe to drink. ADHS recommends well owners test their wells initially for bacteria (total coliform), nitrates, arsenic, lead, uranium, fluoride and total dissolved solids.
